GIGMETA, LLC is looking for a Software Engineer with preferred telephony experience to join a dynamic and experienced team of developers and engineers who utilize modern DevOps methodologies and work on a diverse array of interesting and challenging tasks from week to week.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Fourteen (14) years Software Engineering experience on development teams utilizing modern software engineering tools and methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of additional Software Engineering experience on a development team utilizing modern software engineering tools and methodologies may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Experience designing and implementing object-oriented solutions in Java
• Experience with Java, Subversion, Teamwork, User Interface Design, writing Software Requirements, Software Development Processes, and Software Debugging,
• Experience in IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans, or Eclipse development environments
• Strong understanding of data structures and multi-threaded processing
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
• Familiarity navigating Linux using bash commands to configure administrative settings and evaluate system performance
• Able to identify and anticipate needs of a user community, development staff, and integrated applications

DESIRED SKILLS

• Junit test development to automate regression testing
• Basic understanding of modern telephony systems
• Basic networking
• Experience with cellular technologies
• Familiarity with various processing systems
