    Job Description

    ROLE PURPOSE

    To communicate and manage customer demand requirements using EDI, customer portals, and MFGPRO, then convert these into agreed production plans that meet both inventory and resource objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop production plans in support of on time customer deliveries that also meet agreed inventory targets.
    • Co-ordinate with Value Streams’ production schedules to execute plans that balance service, cost, efficiency, and inventory as well as
    • Schedule downtime that coordinates with the value stream leaders, maintenance, manufacturing engineers and for other support functions (lean, PM, improvements, etc.)
    • Prepare trunk schedules to meet customer demand, and communicate these where appropriate to the relevant stakeholders.
    • Communicate and work with customers to achieve desirable outcomes.
    • Utilise customer portals and processes to the required standards as defined by the customer.
    • Daily support of Finished Goods by conducting plant inventory walks, managing cycle count process.
    • Employ appropriate analytical tools,a nd judgment to make sound decisions in a timely way.
    • Look for ways to simplify and improve processes through applying new methods and approaches to both existing and new processes.
    • Apply supply chain information tools as appropriate for executing required tasks (MFGPRO, FAS/MS, iDash, Gladius, Cognos, etc.)
    • Assist in the development and implementation of procedures, supporting Supply Chain Improvement initiative.
    • Provide support and leadership for record integrity, physical inventory, and overall department objectives
    • Root cause analysis of problems identified through the value streams.
    • Other tasks as requested

    QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS (ESSENTIAL)

    High School Diploma

    Demand or Supply Planning, ERP systems, Office tools/systems (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience with Problem solving (root cause analysis).

    DESIRABLE

    Bachelor's Degree

    APICS CPIM / CSCP
