Job Description
We are looking to add an IT specialist to join our growing team that supports small to medium sized companies. You will resolve computer-related and cloud service based issues for our clients. This is a contract position with flexible hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software in varying environments
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or remote support
- Recommend hardware and software improvements
- Document and track customer issues and resolutions within a service tracking application
- Participate in projects and system enhancements
- Assist Network/Server team with on-site tasks
- On-site support with requirement to follow COVID-19 safety protocols
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in IT, with a strong focus on customer support
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure services is a plus
- Basic networking knowledge
- Ability to efficiently work remotely
- Means to travel between client sites around the San Francisco Bay Area
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Team player
- Good communication and writing skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
