Location: Hartford, CT (In-Person, Daily)
Compensation: $150K–$170K base + OTE up to $250K
Reports to: Regional President (Direct Oversight)

This is a fast-growing, private equity-backed residential services platform operating across multiple brands and trades. The Hartford business recently scaled from $7M to $35M in under two years and now includes HVAC, plumbing, and electrical operations under a unified structure. With strong team leadership, proven systems, and strategic support already in place, this is an opportunity to step into a mature operation and take it to the next level.
The Opportunity
If you're looking to take on full P&L ownership in a business with real momentum, this is your shot. You'll lead a highly visible, multi-brand service operation with support from a successful former GM who grew the business and is now in a senior leadership role. This position offers immediate impact and long-term upside, with clear potential to advance into higher-level regional or enterprise roles.
What You’ll Do
Team & Culture Leadership
Lead and develop a team of 6–8 direct reports and 100+ total employees across trades
Foster a purpose-driven, blue-collar culture that drives performance and retention
Recruit, develop, and mentor high-character leaders and technicians
Business Growth & P&L Ownership
Own a $35M+ P&L and execute growth strategies to reach $40M+ in the next 12 months
Deliver 10–15% annual organic growth through operational rigor and customer excellence
Drive key KPIs: revenue, conversion %, average invoice, maintenance plans, and eNPS
Operational Execution
Oversee daily operations across service, install, dispatch, and customer experience
Maintain “Five-Star Service” standards through coaching, metrics, and accountability
Leverage tools like ServiceTitan to manage performance and drive decision-making
Local Market Engagement
Represent the business in the community through hiring, branding, and customer engagement
Build local partnerships and develop market-specific strategies for continued growth
Be the face of a mission-driven service organization rooted in purpose and excellence
You’d Be a Great Fit If You Have:
Leadership experience managing teams in high-tempo environments (Military or private sector)
Strong organizational, financial, and communication skills
Experience managing or influencing a $15M+ P&L
Ability to connect with and lead blue-collar teams with empathy and accountability
Strategic mindset with a bias for action and a passion for winning
Bonus Points For:
Service industry or trades experience (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field ops software
Bachelor’s degree or MBA
Prior military service with leadership responsibilities (O-3 or above, E-7 or above ideal)
Track record of developing and growing high-performing teams
