Daily opportunities:

• Positively service all customers, obtain orders and establish new sales by planning and organizing to maximize all sales.

• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.

• Strive for accuracy in all daily activities: Accounting, inventory, production knowledge, etc…

• Recommends changes in products and selection by evaluating results as well as competitive developments.

• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; making recommendations to management.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in online training and workshops.

• Contribute to team effort by handling phone calls, emails and any customer inquiry in a timely manner as needed

Requirements for the ideal candidate:

• Experience with the operation and functionality of professional digital still camera and/or video equipment, lenses and accessories

• Experience with flash and/or continuous lighting equipment

• Strong, articulate communication skills

• Exceptional organization skills with an eye for detail

• Ability to regularly lift and control cases weighing up to 70 lbs.

• Must possess a friendly, supportive demeanor in order to establish an upbeat and professional relationship with customers

• Flexibility with hours is a must

• Be disciplined, focused and able hold a one-handed headstand for at least 10 minutes on Thursdays and sometimes the last day of February (leap years only)

• Attend events both in store and out of the store to represent Midwest Photo
