We are a Local St. Louis Property Management Company who is looking for more Service Technicians who are experienced in apartment and house troubleshooting and repairs. Must be motivated, punctual, professional, a self-starter, able to work alone, get the job done right the first time in the allotted time & take direction from your Supervisor. This is NOT a home remodeling job. We are looking people who can troubleshoot a problem & make the repairs needed right away, not just replace the item with a new one.
We are looking for someone with a clean appearance, curious, good customer service skills & a positive attitude. We are a privately owned, no nonsense company who believes in rewarding its employees who go above and beyond.... not who just come to collect a paycheck. This position is a "roaming" maintenance positions. This means you will not work in the same location each day, you WILL work in different locations throughout a day. You will need your own vehicle to get from job to job.
Applicant must have:
-Must possess good work ethics, excellent communication skills, ability to complete work orders, & other tasks given by Management. Can follow directions, is a team player & uses common sense.
-Must have a valid driver's license & current auto insurance.
-Must have own vehicle (preferably a work truck, van or SUV) with proof of insurance that you will be using to go from job to job.
-Must pass a background check.
-Must have your own tools, including a 20 ft. ladder
-Must be available Monday -- Friday & some nights & weekends to be "on call"
-Must be willing to work in & drive to St. Louis County, St. Louis City, Jefferson County & St Charles County.
-Must have extensive knowledge in the following: Troubleshooting, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Drywall Repair, Painting, Appliance Repair.
*Bonus if have knowledge of: Roofing, Tuck-pointing, and HVAC experience

The Service Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. In coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor he/she insures the operation and proper appearance of each property, both interior and exterior. Must have extensive knowledge of building maintenance. Conform to company approved dress code. Conduct all business in accordance with and follow company policies/procedures, Fair Housing, American with Disabilities Act, state & federal laws, OSHA, real estate, property management laws and all other laws pertaining to housing.
