GP Enterprise Solutions is a SaaS startup that creates next generation software for the private market industry. We focus on client facing solutions such as our proprietary Investor Portal, but also spend time on internal advancements with the implementation of automations and artificial intelligence with multiple projects with the goal of creating the most efficient workspace possible.

We are looking for a well-spoken, detail-oriented entry level developer to join our team. You will work closely with the Client Success Specialist to create programs that provide valuable insight into the company's day to day functions. This is an in office position residing in Latham, NY. The responsibilities for a Software Developer at GPES will include data cleansing/manipulation, database creations, Business Intelligence visual creations and software programs from scratch.

• Work with automation tools including Microsoft Power Automate
• Cleanse/standardize large datasets
• Maintain GitHub account
• Create and maintain custom code
• Create and maintain database(s)
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Take ownership of multiple projects
• Learn new technologies over time

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Computer Science or Engineering degree a plus 
• 2 years data cleansing / standardization experience in a professional setting
• Knowledge of AWS, Rest API, Python, JavaScript, Frameworks.
• Experience with ETL or data transformation processing
• Recent experience within the Financial Industry- preferred

COMPETENCIES

1. Basic understanding of front-end web styling (HTML5, CSS3)
2. Fluency in one or more programming languages, preferably Python
3. A strong understanding of object-oriented programming
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills
5. Knowledge of Git version control
