  • Responsibilities

    Our Business Development role requires successful Account acquisition and management by developing strong strategic customer relationships. The BD Executive provides a consultative evaluation of our Client's brand packaging, supply chain, and logistics needs to align with GPA's core competencies.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

    • Maintaining current strategic relationships and identifying new opportunities/partnerships  
    • Profitably and strategically onboard new Client Accounts  
    • Grow book of business with both high transactional and consultative long-term partnerships 
    • Execute profitable decision-making through demonstrated knowledge of; facility capabilities 
    • Proven success selling into Top Tier Global Brands 
    • Success negotiating and selling 5M plus brand packaging contracts  
    • Build internal relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional colleagues to drive strategy and new business opportunities with key strategic partners 
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functionally with design, engineering, business development, marketing, to define and refine the strategy to exceed Client expectations  
    • Identify and implement Value Propositions with priority customers through knowledge and application of GPA Global corporate/business capabilities and resources 
    • Ability to drive GPA advantage through continuous evaluation of market conditions, competitive environment and opportunities for innovation 
    • Report and communicate to leadership Client pain points and barriers to success

     

    QUALIFICATIONS  

    • 3 PLUS YEARS OF BRAND PACKAGING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE DRIVING LARGE ENTERPRISE ACCOUNTS  
    • 3 PLUS YEARS OF MANAGING PACKAGING PROGRAMS ACROSS MULTI-LOCATION MANUFACTURING 
    • SUCCESSFULLY ESTABLISHED TURN-KEY INTERNATIONAL SUPPLY CHAIN PROGRAMS 
    • 3 PLUS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN STRATEGY, PRODUCT, AND PARTNERSHIP RELATED ACTIVITY
    • Proven track record of developing, communicating and driving strategic programs 
    • Proven success of increasing sales  
    • Strategic Skills: Identifies the big picture, managing complex decisions clarifying proper process, ability to deal with ambiguity  
    • Successfully delivered on meaningful metrics, top-line, and bottom-line results 
    • Experience defining, developing and leading large programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment 
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment 
    • Collaboration and relationship-building skills – with the experience to develop working relationships at all levels of management 
    • Valid drivers license, insurance, and automobile
