    Job Description

    THE ROLE

    We are in search of an Asset Manager to work directly with one of our clients, a top post house in LA. This role will work with the Operations and Technical departments to maintain an up to date account of the companys asset inventory.

    Please note: This is not a remote position. This role requires you to work onsite at an office in LA.

    THE CANDIDATE

    We are looking for someone who is passionate about the media and entertainment industry, a fast learner, and is driven to help the team excel in world-class customer service and operations. This position has room to grow into a career path with the Finishing department. The sky's the limit for the candidate that shows the right aptitude and willingness to learn!

    REQUIREMENTS

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintain an orderly flow of assets in and out of the inventory with clearly identified locations and destinations
    • Ensure orders generated by operations are filled with the assets available
    • Notify Tech if additional equipment is needed to fill orders
    • Check assets out to and in from customers, while keeping an organized record of all transitions
    • Look ahead in the schedule for conflicts or equipment deficits and initiate dialog with the appropriate departments to point out the needs or conflicts
    • Maintain asset records that easily searchable, ensuring there is a paper trail for every asset
    • Develop improvements in asset management procedures to help streamline operations
    • Utilize the asset management software to identify which assets are required for different system configurations
    • Assist clients with moving equipment
    • As the schedule permits, aid the Finishing team members with tasks such as exporting or uploading files

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Previous experience working as an Asset Manager, Asset Coordinator, Asset Technician or Technical Coordinator
    • Media and entertainment industry experience
    • Must be organized and detail oriented
    • Great time management skills with the ability to stick to timelines, ensuring tasks are completed on time
    • Self-motivated to gain knowledge and work with team members of other departments to learn more about the business
    • Technically adept and resourceful
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and raise issues early
    • Customer service focused, always willing to answer customer questions, or direct them to the appropriate team member for assistance
