THE ROLE
We are in search of an Asset Manager to work directly with one of our clients, a top post house in LA. This role will work with the Operations and Technical departments to maintain an up to date account of the companys asset inventory.
Please note: This is not a remote position. This role requires you to work onsite at an office in LA.

REQUIREMENTS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain an orderly flow of assets in and out of the inventory with clearly identified locations and destinations
- Ensure orders generated by operations are filled with the assets available
- Notify Tech if additional equipment is needed to fill orders
- Check assets out to and in from customers, while keeping an organized record of all transitions
- Look ahead in the schedule for conflicts or equipment deficits and initiate dialog with the appropriate departments to point out the needs or conflicts
- Maintain asset records that easily searchable, ensuring there is a paper trail for every asset
- Develop improvements in asset management procedures to help streamline operations
- Utilize the asset management software to identify which assets are required for different system configurations
- Assist clients with moving equipment
- As the schedule permits, aid the Finishing team members with tasks such as exporting or uploading files
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience working as an Asset Manager, Asset Coordinator, Asset Technician or Technical Coordinator
- Media and entertainment industry experience
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Great time management skills with the ability to stick to timelines, ensuring tasks are completed on time
- Self-motivated to gain knowledge and work with team members of other departments to learn more about the business
- Technically adept and resourceful
- Ability to prioritize tasks and raise issues early
- Customer service focused, always willing to answer customer questions, or direct them to the appropriate team member for assistance
