    ABOUT THE POSITION

    Job Title: Asset Management Associate

    The Asset Management Associate position is a two-year early career development program and a pathway for accelerated career growth and opportunity in the asset and investment management industry. Designed to attract and develop high-potential professionals who demonstrate passion, curiosity, and the desire to enter the asset management industry, this program is the platform from which proven candidates from their respective industries can quickly excel and evolve their career direction.

    This rotational program combines training, mentoring, coursework, a variety of roles and responsibilities, and interaction with GQG leaders, while working alongside a cohort of collaborative team members. Program members build exceptional operational, business development, and analytical skills with an opportunity to select an operational area or assigned based on business need within a fast growing and industry leading organization. Asset Management Associate program members are viewed as the potential leaders and business drivers of our tomorrow by providing perspectives, insight, delivery, and solutions to support GQG to the next level of growth and success.

    ROTATION RESPONSIBILITIES

    Marketing:

    • Support website layout, content creation, and site development

    • Create and deliver internal and external communications from concept to outcomes

    • Develop social media, website, digital and competitive strategies

    • Prepare and present competitive analysis of website, social media, digital campaigns, and marketing content

    • Coordinate multiple streams of efforts and projects

    Client Service

    • Assist with ad-hoc requests that enter Client Service inbox

    • Support special projects as needed (e.g. helping with Salesforce reporting projects, building out relevant campaigns, etc.)

    • Assist with client meetings as appropriate, including meeting-prep, calendaring, organizing meeting notes, gathering meeting follow up items, etc.

    • Support client and broker onboarding

    Internal Sales

    • Prepare for and pass Series 7 (if applicable rotation)

    • Present, message, deliver talking points of sales conversation

    • Demonstrate confidence in sales process and strategies

    Investment Operations

    • Operational processes associated with investment accounting, reconciliation, reporting and post-trade operational requirements

    • Trade Operations including metrics, fail trade reporting, and market trade matching

    • Various reconciliation duties (fund, market, office, position, cash, TMV) including review, reporting, escalating, and sign-offs

    • Reporting both internal and Proxy voting oversight and report generation

    • Client Operations including billing, calculations, audit, cash flow management, restrictions

    • Managed Account Operations including modeling, client and broker onboarding, and performance reviews

    Request for Proposals (RFP)

    • Complete due diligence and proposal in fast paced environment

    • Develop critical content: Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ), GQG Annual Report, GQG Compliance Manual, GQG Prospectus, ASX Investor presentations

    • Represent and present key areas including Trading, Compliance, ESG, and Diversity

    • Complete new and existing business questionnaires and request that cover broad range of topics.

    ABOUT YOU

    • Bachelor's Degree demonstrating strong academic background

    • Min 2-3 years of operational or finance experience

    • Demonstrable interest in finance or investment management industry
