ROLE: STAFF ACCOUNTANT
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with month-end closing process including all accruals and adjusting entries.
- Reconcile financials discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Reconcile major balance sheet accounts such as inventory, fixed assets, prepaid, and accounts payable.
- Document accounting procedures as needed.
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
- Work with accounting staff to help with operation overflow.
- Prepare special financial reports on an as needed basis.
- Serve as backup for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail.
- Team player.
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- 1-2 year’s general ledger accounting experience required.
- Advanced Excel proficiency required.
