    This full-time role is a part of our Euclid team and reports to the Tool Room Supervisors.

    Shift and Pay:

    $37.00 per hour

    1st shift: 6:00am-2:00pm

    2nd shift: 2:00pm-10pm $.90/hr. shift premium

    3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:00am $.90/hr. shift premium

    Job Summary:

    • Performs extensive die maintenance such as rebuilding die sections, retrimming pads and forms and engineering changes on all types of dies.
    • Determine specifications for inspection of work, using full range of precision measuring, and gauging tools to perform inspection before, during and after machining.
    • Tear down, repairs and reassembles tooling on the bench or in the press as required
    • Heat treats tools or parts.
    • Plan setup and operation of all types of machine shop tools, considering types of material, tolerances, types of cutting tools, coolants, lubricants and machine tool feeds and speeds

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Metal stamping and manufacturing experience preferred

    • Toolmaker Journeyman Card or 6 years of verifiable experience

    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

    • Proven written and verbal communication skills

  • Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 5-7 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
    • Microsoft Windows operating systems current and recent versions experience is required.
    • MAC experience is a huge plus. 
    • Google suite & Google Drive a plus is required.
    • Following facilities EHS (Environmental Health & Safety procedures) PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and procedures a must.
    • Lifting - Potential lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally to move objects.  
    • Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems.  Must be able consistently identify critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions.  
    • Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions.
    • Maintains excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization internally & externally. Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems.
    • Able to apply expertise in all the tools or applications used to complete work assignments.
