DEPARTMENT: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
LOCATION: WINTERSET, IOWA
STATUS: FULL-TIME, BENEFITS ELIGIBLE
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The person hired for this position will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative support to the business development team. This support role will serve as a primary point of contact for incoming emails and phone calls to contribute to an optimal customer service experience.

FOCUS:
- Answers incoming calls from customers with inquiries, concerns, and service requests and ensures every caller is directed to the correct personnel.
- Provides outbound correspondence to customers and prospective customers.
- Actively listens to customer requests, identifies needs and provides accurate and timely information as appropriate.
- Troubleshoots basic customer issues related to service and accounts.
- Provides administrative support to the business development team which may include scheduling, travel planning, processing orders, and expense reports.
- Works with the business development team to develop & edit presentations and other correspondence.
- Greets visitors and customers of Grip-Tite and directs them to the appropriate area or individuals needed.
- Maintains accurate and up to date records within CRM system for all business customers and prospective customers.
- Assists the Director of Business Development or others with the execution of marketing campaigns, content distribution, data gathering and tracking.
- Works with internal and external marketing resources to create collateral and distribute marketing-related information and materials to internal and external audiences.
- May assist in developing social media, email communications or other collateral material (brochures, newsletters, etc.)
- Monitors and orders marketing and sales materials, office supplies, and other promotional items as needed.
- Compiles data and information on a schedule distributed to the business development team.
- Other marketing, sales, office, or general duties as assigned to meet company goals and objectives.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to display confidence and positivity.
- Must be detailed, a self-starter and enjoy working in a challenging environment.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PPT and have knowledge of CRM software. Experience with creative programs such as Adobe Suite, InDesign, Publisher are a plus.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 3 years related experience in a fast-paced environment. Preferred candidate would have a degree in marketing, communications, or business.
CPSP or CCP desired but not required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

- This position is not remote, and the person hired must be in the office daily.

- This position will be an office position; however, the employee will have limited exposure to changing temperatures (hot, cold, humid), moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, chemicals, and loud noises that come from the production floor. The noise level in the work environment can be loud; vibration levels are moderate.
