We are seeking senior level software architects and mid level Android developers to design and build advanced Android applications for a diverse group of devices including interactive kiosks, IoT products like contactless smart lockers, computer vision based self-checkout system, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and build advanced android applications for a diverse group of devices including interactive kiosks, IoT products like contactless smart lockers, computer vision based self-checkout system, etc.
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Unit-test code for usability, edge cases and general reliability
• Integrate third-party APIs and SDKs
• Turn UI/UX designs or wireframes into interactive applications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of professional android development experience using Java/Kotlin
• Experience integrating third-party APIs & SDKs
• Must be able to turn UX/UI design or wireframes into interactive applications
• Must have published apps in Google Play Store and/or a Github profile to show code
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Extensive experience with Git or similar version control system
• Preferred skills: Android SDK, Android NDK, Android Profiler, REST APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP, Firebase, Dagger, Picasso, Retrofit, Junit tests, JVM
• Familiarity with Kotlin preferred
• Experience integrating Android code to hardware devices helpful
• Experience with TFLite or other mobile machine learning frameworks is an added plus
