    JOB SUMMARY:  

    The Tampa-Orlando Branch Operations Manager ensures the growth and success of the Tampa and Orlando, Florida Offices in the Florida Gulf Region through strategic client relationships, quality service, and sustainable performance.  This position is responsible for the overall development of sustainable operations in this geography and reports to the Director of Operations and/or Manager of the Gulf South Region.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

    • Responsible for the profit and loss of the Tampa-Orlando branch offices
    • Establish the strategic direction and ensure best practices are aligned with capacity and performance demands placed on the branch
    • Lead the branch in utilization of best practices for effective and efficient delivery of product to the customer.  Requires a strong passion for leading quality delivery of service and customer satisfaction in an organization
    • Creating and executing quarterly and annual strategic goals and business plans, including meeting established financial and sales goals
    • Develop and implement annual business development plans
    • Manage and engage in all business development, client relations and interactions with clients and potential clients in a disciplined manner with strict compliance to CERM’s Business Conduct Policy and the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
    • Leadership in advancing the use of CRM software in order to manage measure and improve the process of customer acquisition (sales) and retention.
    • Manages and acts as advisor to all personnel and associated branch operations
    • Promotion of CERM culture and common values among the staff that promotes team work, client satisfaction, and professional growth and development
    • Strategic recruitment, hiring, and mentoring new leadership
    • Provide opportunities for professional growth and training.
    • Advancing growth through business development as well as technical and marketing presentations, proposal and qualification writing, fee estimates and review, and daily client and agency contact
    • Establish branch communication policies and practices to disseminate program requirements, monitor schedules and surface issues to ensure satisfactory completion of contract requirements within schedule and budget constraints
    • Assist with establishing realistic customer satisfaction goals and supporting tactics in company business plans
    • Develop reportable key performance indicators with Project Managers and support staff
    • Identify program/contract risks and manage appropriately, Escalating as appropriate for visibility to the CERM Executive Committee and management team.
    • Review activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine branch progress toward goals and objectives; Assure the regular collection and analysis of costs at appropriate organizational levels
    • Participate in all major branch customer related decisions for CERM
    • Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above
    • Create and manage a project team to ensure development and execution of project plans, alignment of project goals with stated corporate strategy and objectives.
    • Develop tools and mechanisms for monitoring project progress, intervention and problem solving within project team and line managers.
    • Drive implementation and management of day-to-day project management procedures; project controls; specific communication tools that enhance information exchange; department metrics reporting; project management files/databases
    • Manage the development and execution of project delivery plans and timelines.
    • Facilitate communication across company and engage stakeholders with a solution-oriented focus and present strategies and plans to Sr. and Executive management
    • Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people
    • Facilitates meetings, produces minutes and follow up action items
    • Creates, manages, and tracks project timeline and other appropriate metrics
    • Creates, edits and presents project updates as needed
    • Prepares regular status reports and presentations

    • Knowledge of applicable State and Local laws and rules, legal issues and safety standards

    Required Experience

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • 15 Yrs. A-E-C Industry Specific experience at a managerial or high level of difficulty position with business networks in the Tampa-Orlando , Florida region.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
    • Master’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field

     LICENSURES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND REGISTRATIONS:

    • A-E-C Registered Professional is a plus
    • PE in Florida and other surrounding states (Georgia, Florida, Alabama, etc.)

     PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Requires the ability to exert light physical effort including, but not limited to, lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, etc. of objects and materials of light weight (generally 25 pounds and less)
    • May involve extended periods of time in seated position and at a keyboard or workstation

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • This job combines office with some field work
    • Willingness to travel extensively to various project sites - Primarily Florida, Alabama & Georgia
