    The 3D Printing Business Development Representative is responsible for finding new business through sales and marketing initiatives in a business-to-business environment.  This position generates business leads and interest in Additive Manufacturing while working in a high-tech fast paced industry.  In this role, you will be selling products and/or services to new customers within an established territory to ensure revenue growth.

    GSC’S CORPORATE OFFICE IS LOCATED IN GERMANTOWN, WISCONSIN. THIS POSITION CAN WORK AT OUR CORPORATE LOCATION, HYBRID, OR FULLY REMOTE. THIS FULLY REMOTE OPTION IS AVAILABLE FOR CANDIDATES LIVING IN WISCONSIN, ILLINOIS, OR MINNESOTA.

     

    WHAT WILL YOU OWN?

    • Understand the value of 3D printing and educate contacts and companies on how that value could benefit them and/or their organization
    • Respond and qualify incoming leads quickly via phone and/or email to potential customers who have engaged through ads, direct mail, email, and tradeshows
    • Solicit and maintain a network of prospects TO:
      • Sell products and/or services
      • Develop new account relationships
    • Employ a “solution-selling” approach, taking into consideration the customer’s potential needs and pain points that 3D printing can solve
    • Promote 3D printing events and drive potential and current customers to register
    • Utilize different tools to research contacts and companies such as Salesloft, Sales Navigator, LinkedIn and Google
    • Research companies for status changes leading to opportunities, i.e., company acquisitions, hiring, awarded contracts etc.
    • Keep accurate and adequately detailed records of emails, phone calls, and meeting data in the CRM in compliance with the sales process, campaign requirements, and marketing expectations
    • Meet daily and weekly sales activity goals
    • Work collaboratively with the Additive Outside Sales and Technical team

     

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE: 

     

    • Previous knowledge or a high interest in modern technology
    • Possess an ability to be a comfortable and effective communicator. Not only will you need to communicate on the phone with potential and current customers, but also communicate with your internal team members and leadership.
    • Be a goal-oriented person: Someone who enjoys being highly productive, balancing quantity with quality

    • At least 1 to 2 years of sales, retail, or customer service experience
    • Technology sales experience preferred
    • College degree preferred
