Must be a US Citizen and hold a Current DoD Secret Clearance. Essential Functions: 1. Assist the Government in planning and overseeing cloud efforts on a large scale. 2. Assist the government in delivering technical services to include infrastructure management, network normalization, identity and access management, enterprise services, and storage services, secure file transfer services, virtual machine services, database hosting services, web hosting services, development and test environment hosting services and data management services including archiving and regular backups. 3. Provide recommendations and advice to facilitate optimization of cloud-based resources, to include SAP and non-SAP based solutions to include non-SAP components of solutions (database, project support tools, hardware, operating systems, etc.). 4. Provide technical process improvement recommendations for standardizing and optimizing system and infrastructure design and architectures. 5. Provide technical subject matter expertise on infrastructure considerations in IT System Engineering with an emphasis on modern, cloud services and application portability. 6. Assist in the review, analysis, and documentation of market research materials, and make recommendations on how that analysis should inform the project direction. 7. Review, draft, and update the technical portions of various documents, including acquisition, other program document, and user support documents. 8. Present technical information in a concise manner that can be understood by non-engineers and gives decision-makers the context and key points necessary to make necessary decisions. 9. Support analysis and preparatory activities for migration of applications to a new cloud environment. 10. Develop technical documentation. 11. Leading design and development activities, and providing technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. 12. Incorporating new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. 13. Ensuring that all control gates are met on schedule. 14. Interfacing with the government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts. 15. Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the systems engineering area of responsibility. 16. Implement Agile-Scrum Development methodologies for project management 17. Assist other team members in other specialties as needed to accomplish the overall mission. Required Qualifications: 1. 8+ years related experience. 2. Bachelor's Degree required in a relevant field. Master's Degree in a relevant field preferred 3. Deep systems engineering comprehension of the state of the art in large scale cloud implementation and migrations in cloud environments, the infrastructure considerations, and the respective best practices and challenges. 4. Familiarity with AWS. 5. Powerful analytical and problem-solving skills - including the ability to develop solutions in new and creative ways. 6. Ability to combine knowledge and expertise from diverse areas in new/unique ways to solve problems. 7. Strong ability to lead disparate teams from different groups form consensus 8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 9. Strong ability to brief senior executives with little notice. 10. Comfortable in a fast paced/dynamic environment. 11.
