JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. The ideal candidate is responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) to build an audience and ensure customer engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Increase engagement, follower, and sign-ups across all channels
- Develop, build, and manage our social media community
- Ensure all social media content is consistent with branding, positioning, voice, and messaging
- Manage organic social media and content calendars
- Actively monitor social channels for key issues and post timely key customer updates
- Track and measure success of programs and communicate results to support recommendations for future programs
- Drive creative innovation that creates breakthrough conversations about our brand and products
- Leverage messaging, content, promotions, press, to build earned media presence
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, communications
- Associates degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field
- Professional certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant social media networks
- Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite, Later and HubSpot
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content
- Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
- Design tools (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
- Content management and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Sprout Social, etc.)

- Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS
- Knowledge on Google Adwords
- Knowledge on Facebook Advertising
