    SALES OPERATIONS BUSINESS PARTNER

    HIGHLIGHTS Location: __ San Francisco or Boston Position Type: __ Direct Hire Hourly / Salary: __ $110-120K plus 20% bonus Residency Status: __ US Citizen or Green Card Holder ONLY Seeking a fast learning, energetic and experienced Sales Operations Partner interested in making an immediate impact in the Private Equity/ Venture Capital ecosystem. This position offers the opportunity to affect and drive strategy, uncover market potential, develop actionable insights, and improve processes (and even develop new ones). Seeking people with a passion for challenging the status quo and who are eager to take on numerous projects within a dynamic and ever-evolving industry. This position is an individual contributor role which can be based in either our San Francisco or Boston location.

    MOST IMPORTANT:

    • INDIVIDUAL NEEDS TO BE COMFORTABLE WITH DATA (EXCEL, TABLEAU, SQL)
    • Being able to look at raw data, understand it, conceptualize it, be able to visualize it then communicate it out to team members is key
    • Lots of rebuilding of the foundation in this role (individual needs to understand conceptually an IT framework)

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support the head of Global Fund Banking in driving data-focused decisions through deep-dive analytics and business acumen
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, process redesign, or development of new ones; evaluate performance indicators (at various levels) and provide recommendations and solutions to business challenges
    • Work cross-functionally with other business units to ensure changes/enhancements to CRM and other sales systems are consistent with business needs
    • Develop best practices that align sales data quality with company initiatives
    • Develop proprietary datasets and external company data to extract valuable insights and present these findings to key stakeholders
    • Create high-quality reports for internal consumption that combine market observations from sales teams along with data insights
    • Support senior executives in tracking team performance and analyzing key metrics related to client acquisition pipeline, loan portfolio, funding, product penetration, referral channels, etc.
    • Research and profile targeted prospects, report and analyze portfolios, identify and aggregate current relationships, and identify potential cross-selling opportunities for prospects

    QUALIFICATIONS

    REQUIRED:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience with sales, sales operations, and/or analytics
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Fluency with data reporting and visualization tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Tableau, CRM, Excel)
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic
    • Strong prioritization skills, including leading multiple initiatives at the same time

    PREFERRED:

    • Proven experience developing business strategy, and/or sales operations or equivalent skills
    • Interest in startup, private equity, and venture capital ecosystems
    • Strong initiative, intellectual curiosity, and ownership
    • Demonstrated ability to operate with significant autonomy and discretion
    • Ability to work across organization boundaries and move fast while juggling multiple projects – all while keeping very close attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with co-workers of various backgrounds and experience, and to work well within cross-functional teams
