    Job Summary Operate several types of power construction equipment, to excavate, lift, and move waste, fill materials, machines, products or supplies, and do so in a safe and timely manner with the highest quality possible. Candidates should have at least two years of experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, specifically dozers and excavators. Candidates will be responsible for inspecting equipment before and after you use them, load and unload waste materials, and move materials from one area to another. All equipment operators must follow company and governmental safety guidelines at all times. Applicants must live in South Florida - Sarasota/Bradenton area • Full-Time • Schedule Monday-Friday /Some Weekends • PTO (paid time off) • Sick Time • Paid Holidays Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Responsibilities: • Follow all safety procedures while operating heavy equipment • Ensure equipment stays in clean working order and report any issues to supervisor • Ensure the work area is safe and compliant at all times. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Physical Requirements: • Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions. • Hearing: Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals. • Speaking: Able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification. • Equipment Operation: Able to operate a wide range of tools • Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg. • Lifting: able to lift up to 30lbs/14kg. • Squatting/Kneeling: able to squat or kneel • Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time delivering information. • Walking: Able to walk through the shop and other outside elements Education: • High School Diploma or equivalent Required: • Pass a drug Screen and a background check Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly
