    DIGITAL MEDIA GENERALIST

    Are you looking for a company that has a mission to help and protect students? Are you creative and self-motivating? Do you love to trial and error ideas? This may be the position for you. We are in search of an enthusiastic self-starter Digital Media Generalist who would work with Gaggle's Digital Marketing team to provide insight, expertise, and creative execution to multiple media channels including organic and paid social media and paid search advertising. The Digital Media Generalist would also provide assistance to the Marketing Department as a whole with daily day-to-day operations. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Overseeing the strategy and planning of all organic and paid social media campaigns including:
      • Segmenting and building an audience
      • Tracking and reporting on metrics
      • Interacting with viewers
      • Design creation with optimization
      • Scheduling
      • Guiding the direction with proven recommendations
      • Maintaining the media budget and dispersing spending evenly and appropriately 
      • Maintain current social media channels - LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram 
        • Make recommendations for joining others
      • Build advocacy within the company
        • Instruct and communicate on how, where, and when to post organic content
        • Advise on best practices
      • Staying active with current social media trends
    • Assist with Google Adwords and other paid media channels
      • Keyword research
      • Design including copywriting ad creation with optimization
      • Scheduling
      • Segmentation of audience
      • Improvement of search ranking
      • Retargeting, Geofencing, and Geotargeting
    • Assist with general marketing responsibilities
      • Event logistics such as meetings scheduling
      • HubSpot odds and ends activities
      • Organizing and maintaining spreadsheets
      • And other

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Candidates must reside in the United States and have full-time, remote work capacity (home office); the ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships across disparate time zones and offices
    • Minimum of 1-2+ years of marketing experience, K-12 experience a plus
    • Excellent organization skills 
    • Demonstrated creative marketing skills in previous roles
    • Ability to create compelling digital content for posting
    • Capable of planning, optimizing, and tracking results
    • Bachelor's degree required in a related field (e.g., marketing, advertising, communications)
    • Proficient with Google tools, MS Office Suite, social media platforms, project management, and communication tools
    • Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce a plus
    • High technology competency across platforms and the ability to transform data into insights
    • Eager and excited to test new ways to share our brand story, engage customers, and drive results
    • Not afraid to get the job done
    • Strong project management and organizational skills with high detail orientation and the ability to multi-task and collaborate with the marketing team
    • Ability to work independently; must be highly resourceful, responsible, timely, consistent, and deadline-driven
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced fully remote environment
    • Ability to work flexible hours as dictated by needs; some travel is required
    • Ability to receive and give information in a courteous manner over the telephone, via video conference, via electronic communication, or in-person
