Recruiting Intern (onsite) – Reporting directly to the President and Founder

Seeking to add a motivated, driven, creative and open-minded intern to our team in downtown Houston.

Schedule is flexible for full and/or part-time throughout the summer and fall semesters, with high potential to convert to a full-time teammate.

This internship will allow the individual to expand the role up into one that supports numerous areas of our day-to-day and long-term business operations. She/he will also have the opportunity to work with some of the recruiting industry’s veteran Recruiters and Sourcers, including former SpaceX employees, which have hired talent for Elon Musk’s rocket company, at the highest caliber.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO…

- Recruiting and Sourcing (training provided)

• Partner with local and remote recruiting teammates, in order to provide support for ongoing talent searches
• Identify talented individuals for job openings
• Drive social media initiatives for attracting candidates to job opportunities
• Research and explore client companies and their competitors to better understand talent market and trends
• Review resumes and incoming applicants
• Coordinate meetings, phone screens, interviews, etc.
• Conduct initial phone/video screens with prospective candidates
• Create and maintain job postings on our company website
• Build and update training program documentation

- Marketing and Communication

• Create and manage social media campaigns for attracting followers
• Job ad creation using Adobe suite, Canva, and other tools
• Plan and execute communication out-reach campaigns

- Outreach and Event Planning

• Organize networking/mixer events
• Promote upcoming events via various channels (i.e. – phone, email, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Organize luncheons/happy hours/dinners/etc. with current and prospective clients
• Partner and build relationships with key university personnel for networking and identifying top talent
