  • Responsibilities

    Our client in Galveston, Texas, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray/CT) to join their dynamic team. This individual must be willing to cross-train and assist Medical Staff in an ER Technician capacity as needed. This position will consist of rotating 12 hours shifts, with weekends required.

     

    Our client has multiple locations in Texas, where they have been successful now for several years with their new and unique concepts put into practice, and with how they provide emergency services to the local community with such compassion and urgency.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide patient services using imaging modalities
    • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of all procedures
    • Support RNs and Physicians in providing care for patients
    • Ensure patient areas, storage rooms, and equipment are clean and maintained
    • Manage lab supplies, linens and stock room supplies

    Requirements:

    • AART Certification
    • CT Experience a Must!
    • Multi-Modality; Ultrasound is a plus
    • Ability to start IV a plus
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong organizational, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work under pressure in high-stress situations
    • Qualifications

    • Self-motivated
    • Perceptive of non-verbal cues by patients

    Pay & Benefits:

    • This is an hourly position with shift differential paid for hours worked between 7 PM and 7 AM
    • 401k is offered after 90 days of employment to all eligible employees
