    The Job

    In this role, you will assume a pivotal position within our client’s team, serving as a Senior Project Manager/Traffic Engineer. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of projects, ranging from existing condition assessments and traffic surveys to traffic studies, feasibility analyses, and micro-simulation modeling. As a key hire to foster the growth of our Traffic Engineering practice, you will contribute to areas including traffic impact study reviews, schematic design, capacity analysis, corridor studies, and construction oversight.

    Qualifications:

    • A degree in engineering, planning, or a related field.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain within 3 months.
    • 8 to 20+ years of progressive experience in the field of traffic engineering.
    • Proficiency in utilizing relevant engineering software, manuals, and methodologies essential for the successful execution of various projects.
    • A proven track record in effectively managing projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) designation
    • Extensive experience spanning 8 to 20+ years, involving projects similar to those listed above, with a minimum of 5 years in a project management role.
    • Strong aptitude in team building and effective team management.
    • Proficiency in software such as SYNCHRO, VISSIM, and similar modeling tools.
    • Familiarity with MicroStation or other CAD software.
    • DOT precertification in relevant categories.
