    The Emerging Markets Group is responsible for a broad range of analytical, systems engineering, independent assessments, strategic planning, and technology research, development, testing and evaluation (RDT&E) programs in support of new SPA markets, as well as the company’s San Diego office and portfolio.

    Job Description:

    Our client has a contingent job opening for a full-time Cyber Security Engineer knowledgeable on U.S. Navy acquisition processes, specifically information assurance and cybersecurity accreditation. This position will support research and development of security architectures for U.S. Navy shipboard systems addressing data storage, data access, and data fusion for operational use. This position will support processes and activities to meet information assurance requirements and certifications for new cross-domain solutions (CDS). Key responsibilities include:

     

    Develop, submit and maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation for Interim Authorization to Test (IATT) and Authorization to Operate (ATO) certifications.

    Analyze, implement, develop, monitor, update and maintain information assurance and cybersecurity practices, procedures, equipment, software and hardware.

    Perform systems engineering and technical support for information assurance and cybersecurity evaluation and accreditation for development of shipboard architectures and cross domain solutions.

    Perform independent analysis, engineering analysis, and technical services in the areas of information systems (IS) development, information assurance / cybersecurity processes and requirements, and acquisition program management.

     

    Qualifications Required:

    • Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) or Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes
    • 2 Years minimum in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, or T&E related field.
    • Experience/Expertise with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science related field (e.g. computer science or computer network engineering related)
    • ACTIVE DoD TS
    • SCI Eligibility
