Our car dealership team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software, and their electrical systems expertise. Responsibilities: • Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes • Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems • Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships • Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process • Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs Qualifications: • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired • GED or high school diploma is mandatory • Strong customer service and communications skills are needed Compensation: $25 - $36 hourly
