CAREER OPPORTUNITY - MARKETING MANAGER – ECOMMERCE HYBRID POSITION WITH GALERIE CANDY AND GIFTS IN HEBRON, KENTUCKY

The ECOMMERCE MARKETING MANAGER will devise and implement the strategy, techniques, and tactics used to increase online sales revenue by focusing on conversion, retention, and frequency. This is a unique opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit to take ownership of a relatively new channel of business at Galerie. You will bring a proven track record of success managing a large portfolio of products in an ecommerce setting, including Amazon. Working collaboratively with the Marketing, Product Development, and Design teams you will provide clear creative direction and requirements necessary for the platform. By staying current with industry trends and being close to the consumer you will enjoy developing plans for testing campaigns, developing affiliate partnerships and be willing to propose new ideas.

As the Marketing Manager - eCommerce, you will:

• Develop programs that drive engagement and revenue including publication of above the fold content, A+/Enhanced content, backend SEO optimization, and ratings & reviews
• Develop an eCommerce dashboard to monitor daily/weekly/monthly progress and identify areas of success and opportunity
• Create KPI’s in alignment with web strategy for monthly presentation to key stakeholders
• Provide content optimization expertise, recommendations and insights based on emerging trends and e-retailer specific site capabilities to improve conversion rates and the overall digital consumer experience
• Develop roadmap strategy for software tools to simplify, standardize and automate processes for greater efficiency, deeper insights
• Ensure Brand consistency and compliance across all major eCommerce partner sites
• Execute samplings campaign to syndicate reviews/ratings across the eCommerce landscape and track on-going review trends
• Track record of showing a strong bias to action and can work with multiple deadlines and priorities
• Inspires and motivates the cross-functional teams to achieve results

To qualify, you should be a collaborative, positive, high energy person excited about the challenge of building a new department and bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business related field
• 5+ years prior business experience, ecommerce roles preferred
• High familiarity with Amazon and selling on ecommerce websites
• Working knowledge of syndication software platforms for content and reviews
• Demonstrated capability of organization and ability to prioritize
• Deep working knowledge of the latest SEO/navigation techniques and algorithm updates
• Strong compelling communication skills with ability to make decisions and influence across the organization
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias to action and continually seeking to improve process and approach
• High energy and highly motivated
