CHARGEBACK AND DISPUTES SPECIALIST

Galileo is the technology leader for payment processing including credit, debit and prepaid card programs. We are looking to fill multiple full-time Chargeback and Dispute Analyst positions to help us keep up with the new customers. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently investigating customer disputes in compliance with banking regulations and association guidelines.

• Our hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday - no weekends or nights!
• Pay rate is $16/hour.

• You are ORGANIZED. Throughout the day, you will manage multiple tasks and keep each of them moving through the process to meet government and banking regulations.
• You are DETAIL-ORIENTED. You will sift through multiple transactions to identify the transaction details that provide the pieces to put a puzzle together.
• You use GOOD JUDGEMENT. After putting together the pieces of the puzzle, you will use your judgement to determine if we can recover funds based upon the transaction details.
• You COMMUNICATE WELL. You will be communicating with customers, clients and internal departments, so good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• You are RESPONSIBLE. You live up to your commitments. Your co-workers need to know they can depend on you to be at your desk when it is time to be at your desk. Customers and co-workers are depending on you.

What skills do you need?

• A High School Diploma or GED shows that you can stick to something or show the fortitude to finish a difficult task.
• You must be able to use a computer. Everything you do is on the computer and you need to type your notes.
