Gallagher Promotional Products is currently hiring for a Custom Production Artist:

Job Summary

Responsible for the design, layout, and production of all custom product artwork. Occasional assistance in new products, inhouse communications, and collateral materials.

Job Functions

This position is responsible for performing a variety of functions including, but not limited to:

• Design, layout and produce all artwork needed for custom promotional products while ensuring best appearance and legibility.
• Coordinate with purchasing coordinators and sales department to ensure artwork is produced to meet or exceed customer expectations in a timely manner.
• Must have the ability to learn, follow, and update department procedures.
• Ensure proper spelling and grammar.
• Coordinate with production vendors or purchasing to ensure artwork is produced to vendor specifications.
• Build and maintain an electronic library of product production limitations, templates and all customer artwork.
• Clean up or recreate customer provided artwork into a vector format with careful attention to detail.
• Prepare approved art for vendor production.
• Knowledge of different printing processes and substrates is helpful.
• Produce new product designs.
• Assists, as needed, with the design and production of in-house collateral and communication materials.
• Must be able to work in a group and independently.
• Must have a collaborative attitude and handle changes to designs in a positive manner.
• Must be able to think creatively when developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts.

Job Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Some College is preferred
• Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator with mid-level Photoshop
• InDesign and Acrobat skills
• Must pay close attention to Detail
• Adhere to procedures
• Must have the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment
• This position may require making decisions based on specific information to ensure quality output

Must be willing to work onsite Monday – Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
