    Galloway has a full-time associate attorney position available now and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior attorneys and litigation associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to existing clients. You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date. Responsibilities: • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action • Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently • Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations • Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff • Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys • Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff • Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action • Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys • Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used in proceedings and contract negotiations • Maintain clear and effective communication with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently Qualifications: • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Successful completion of the bar exam • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school • Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients Requirements: • Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Florida Preferences: • Minimum of one year of civil litigation experience • Moot court or trial team experience • Legal journal participation • Graduation with honors Compensation: $90,000+ depending on experience
