PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES
The Quality Engineer is an essential position within Galvion's Armor business unit, providing support to the Quality, Production, and Supply Chain groups. The main responsibility of this position is to effectively establish, communicate, maintain, and verify conformance to product specifications and quality system requirements. This role participates in the cross-functional teams to develop control plans and address, contain, and correct instances of non-conformance.
The person in this position is expected to facilitate root cause analyses (internally and with suppliers) to ensure that causes are fully understood and actions are taken to prevent recurrences. This role participates in supplier and internal audits, and ensures that follow up actions are established.
