    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    You are stationed in “mission control” to make sure the facility has what it needs to operate effectively.

    You will be the welcoming face to Galvion in our Newport Facility. On a given day you will welcome visitors or employees, screen potential applicants, order supplies and ensure meeting areas of well stocked, assist the HR team and executives with administrative duties. Work in conjunction with our facilities and IT staff to make sure we are operating at our best. You will help coordinate in our employee engagement activities and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

    Typical duties include:

    Assist in basic screening of candidates, schedule interviews and assist in organizing interviews, in close collaboration with hiring managers and Human Resource team.

    · Responsible for assisting with new employees as directed by HR including but not limited to:

    · Answer all incoming calls and assist callers as needed. Arrange for sufficient telephone coverage backup when on vacation.

    · Keep meeting rooms stocked, clean and ready for meetings or guests at all times.

    · Order & maintain office supplies.

    · Assist in vendor management, tracking payments and ensuring proper correspondence.

    · Support internal employee events planning and execution.

    · Assist with reserving meeting rooms, travel arrangements, etc. for management and customer visits.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

    · Previous experience in administration or office management

    · Entry Level recruiting or HR experience a plus

    · Proficiency in MS Office

    · Hyper-organized

    · Excited about taking care of details.

    · Excellent Customer Service Skills

    · Able to work independently and as part of a team.

    · Associates degree in business preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
