    PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES

    Provide support to the HR Department and all functions to help achieve efficient administration and support to the Human Resources function.  Deliver outstanding and responsive customer service.

    SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate the administration of job postings, respond to inquiries, applicant processing and file management, screening, scheduling interviews, and background checks, etc.
    • Perform all related administration for news hires including offer letters, on-boarding schedule, benefits registration, creating employee file, etc.
    • Oversee benefits enrollments, changes and required paperwork.  Maintain and update all employee benefit websites and data integrity for Medical, Dental, FSA, 401k and additional benefit programs offered by Galvion.
    • Maintain HR data integrity and conduct audits to ensure continuous accuracy.
    • Maintain and update employee records through the company's HR database and maintain standard employee management reports.
    • Maintain all HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist in the maintenance of the job description files.
    • Administer various HR KPI's and generate reports.
    • Act as liaison for employee insurance questions and concerns.
    • Provide data for internal communications including New Hires, Anniversaries, Promotions and any additional HR information required.
    • Perform various support activities such as letter writing, presentation preparation, proofing, job fairs and special recruiting events, meeting booking, etc.
    • Provide administrative support to help ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws (USA) and relevant provincial laws (Canada).
    • Provide administrative support with the Worker's Compensation (USA) process and claims.
    • Provide assistance to HR BP's and Supervisor in regards to maintaining employee information in ADP Payroll and Time and Attendance.
    • Administer employee badge access and building access.
    • Provide administrative support with the Success Track program.
    • Provide assistance creating and documenting more robust procedures and practices, which support the Company's goals, mission and values.
    • Provide backup support for the Administrative Coordinator.
    • Assist in other HR administrative duties as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Associates degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  PHR and or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
    • 1-2 years of prior Human Resources or Recordkeeping experience required.
    • Experience with HRIS or ATS system.
    • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Basic understanding of State and Federal Labor Laws (USA) and Canadian/provincial labor law is an asset.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities.
    • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and organize projects. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize.
    • Maintain professionalism and good working relationships with others.
    • Cooperative attitude with team-oriented disposition with excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to multi-task and work with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Military experience is a plus.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT (INCLUDE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS)

    • Office base environment, some repetitive motion required.
    • Some travel may be required between Galvion facilities.
