  • Responsibilities

    EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVE:

    This position is responsible for providing daily IT supports to all end users throughout all offices within the Corporation as part of the IT support team.

    SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

    • Maintain PC systems hardware and software.
    • Maintain changes to asset inventory.
    • Remediate situations during hours of operation and sometimes off hours when required.
    • Provision and deploy new hardware and software.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to end users.
    • Assist in technical project deployments.
    • Schedule and perform regular software upgrades.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Windows XP, 7, 8 and 10.
    • AntiVirus systems such as: Panda, McAfee, Symantec, Sophos, etc.
    • Remote access software such as: TeamViewer, Goto2Assist, Join.me, RDP, etc.
    • ITSM software such as: Remedy, Octopus, Track-IT!, Heat, etc.
    • Backup software such as: VEEAM, Arcserve, Backup Exec, etc.
    • Imaging software such as: Ghost, Acronis, etc.
    • Troubleshooting tools such as: Process monitor, Event Viewer, etc.
    • College degree in Computer Science preferred.
    • 3-5 years of IT experience in a multi-office environment.
    • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and administration (documentation) skills.
    • Must understand Windows desktop and server networking environments.
    • Must understand VPN, remote connectivity and general networking concepts.
    • Project management experience is a plus.
    • Must be customer service driven.
    • The incumbent must be a self-motivated team player.
    • Must have experience working in a technical support role.
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must maintain confidentiality of employee and customer records.
    • Must be consistent and accurate in the execution of policies and procedures.
    • Ability to establish and maintain good relations with his or her internal and external customers.
    • Must have an aptitude for logical analysis and problem solving.
    • Business ethics and responsible behaviors.
    • Bilingual
