    PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as advisor to their assigned Business Unit (BU)/Shared Service/Location by providing HR services and solutions to assist them in keeping focus on the business priorities and achieving their objectives. The Human Resources Business Partner is a member of the BU leadership team, actively supports initiatives and transfers best practices from different functions in the organization. The partner leads the people management agenda and acts as the enabler for the management team.

    The HRBP leads and manages the people related agenda at the internal BU / Shared Services with regards to, but not limited to: • Workforce Planning • Total Reward and Recognition, including compensation structure • Talent Acquisition • Performance Management • Learning and Development • Employee Engagement

    Act as a consultant to both internal and external customers with questions regarding: • Policies and Procedures • Compliance Management • Employee Relations and Labor Law • General Administration Lastly, the HRBP reports into the HR function and partners with all other team members in enabling the organization's success through effective collaboration.

    SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES PEOPLE: • Act as the main point of the contact for the employees and managers within their assigned BU or Location. • Build a strong business relationship (trusted advisor) with the internal client. • Challenge the organizational structure of the internal client and propose / implement changes. • Serve as the Employee Engagement Champion through strong collaboration with the management teams and all levels of facility Associates. • Act as a communication zealot to ensure all levels of the organization are informed on business performance. PROCESS: • Assist in the design and implementation of all HR related processes, as well as the delivery of HR processes throughout the BU/location • Ensure that constant feedback is received from all employees, in particular all levels of management, on the overall effectiveness of HR processes. • Proactively supports the delivery of HR processes at the Business Unit / Shared Services side. • Handle HR functions for the Business Unit including, but not limited to: recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, performance management, disciplinary action, terminations, reporting, unemployment claims, employment verifications, pay changes/promotions, etc. • Maintain HRIS and manual filing systems • Administers and processes payroll functions including review of timesheet reports, wage computation and other information • Maintain the compensation structure and support the management team with period review. • Administer oversight and corrective action procedures in order to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures • Assist in the coordination and logistics of training activities for all employees in BU/location • Assist BU leadership identifying and designing succession plans for key talents and develop career path roadmaps • Supports special projects for the HR department, sometimes beyond the assigned Business Unit • Perform other related duties as assigned. PERFORMANCE: • Help the management team bring the best solutions for employee related challenges. • Manage complex and difficult HR projects cross-functionally. • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to mitigate risks. • Act as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management area. • Design and maintain organization vitality charts (KPI's) to help monitor the performance of the BU/location • Act as the member of the HR Management Team. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree in a Business or Human Resources field; Master's degree preferred. • Appropriate Human Resources certification preferred e.g. SHRM – PHR/SPHR, ORHRI, etc. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing setting • Experience in managing significant organizational change • Solid team player and coach • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities • Excellent customer service skills required • Must have integrity and trust with the highest level of confidentiality • Project Management and Change Management Skills required • Strong Business Acumen • Strong Time Management and Priorities Management Skills • Analytical and Problem Solving Skills required • Labor Law knowledge and experience required - Canadian, American and International • Process Improvement knowledge and skills required.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT (INCLUDE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS) • Routine travel (minimum of quarterly) to Montreal, Quebec office, weekly travel to either Portsmouth, NH or Marlborough, MA office (depending on home base) • Office base within manufacturing environment – position is based in facility
