    Overview
    Gambit is at the forefront of developing next-generation technology solutions for DoD customers and intelligence communities. We are in search of a Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI/ML Division.

    In this role, you will be instrumental in creating Al-driven systems for a novel project, the details of which will be provided following the signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

    Starting Annual Salary: 180,000

    Responsibilities

    • Design and develop advanced algorithms for object detection, identification, and tracking, leveraging state-of-the-art computer vision techniques.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate Al technologies into the broader system architecture.
    • Assist in testing and validation process for Al functionalities in various controlled scenarios.
    • Craft high-quality code in line with best practices for Al development within the team.
    • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Al and related technological domains.
    • Document development processes and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing.
    • Effectively communicate complex technical details to a diverse team.

    Requirements

    • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
    • Demonstrable experience in computer vision and machine learning with a strong portfolio of relevant work.
    • Proficient in programming with Python, C++, or similar languages and familiar with ML development frameworks.
    • Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to obtain and hold a Department of Defense Security Clearance
    • This role is remote but will require up to 25% domestic travel.

    Preferred

    • Experience with Publisher Subscriber architectures.
    • Experience with ROS and similar node-based packages.
    • Experience in handling large amounts of data at high frequency and performing real-time analytics.
    • Experience in data compression, especially image/video (J2K, H.264, H.265, FFMPEG, etc.)
    • DoD Security Clearance is always nice to have.
