GamedayVR is a provider of virtual reality experiences and e-sports entertainment in the San Francisco Bay area. Our library of games and virtual reality hardware can be used to provide appropriate entertainment for various interests and age groups. We are currently seeking talented individuals who are interested in introducing this cutting-edge technology to the local community.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to commute to both of our locations at Alameda and San Francisco. Hours for each location may vary depending on staffing and other factors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with guests, answer questions, and educate customers on the experiences and services provided at the location.
- Provide guests with game recommendations, assist customers with hardware, and create a fun environment.
- Be responsible for monitoring equipment and informing management of any issues impacting the customer experience.
- Process sales and monitor invoices using the cash register and/or self-serve kiosk with efficiency and integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge of Valve Index, HTC Vive, or other virtual reality headsets preferred.
- Familiarity with computer software, hardware, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in a retail and/or customer service environment. Knowledge of location-based entertainment is preferred.
- Interest and desire to learn about technology.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
