League of Pros consists of professionals in the tech, gaming, or STEM industries giving back to help mentor children, young adults, and adults to help them in our mission of sustainability. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Navigate Corporate HR and Social Responsibility departments to effectively communicate benefits of our programs for volunteer recruiting
2. Experience Pairing Mentors with Mentees
3. Experience with software and game projects in the past is a plus
4. Interface with the Interns International program to coordinate League Of Pros members who would like to participate as mentors to Interns in the program
5. Collaborate with the GFL People and Culture Team to create, plan, and execute recognition and appreciation programs

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to volunteer 10-15 hrs per week for a minimum of 12 months
2. Program or project management experience of 1 year or more
3. Experience Pairing Mentors with Mentees
4. Strong interpersonal skills that support activities to improve the individual, program, and organizational performance (e.g., encouragement, optimism, compassion, empathy, resilience, recognition of the value of performance improvement)
5. Collaborate with the people and culture team to create, plan, and execute recognition and appreciation programs
6. Worked with Nonprofit Volunteer Programs with Corporate partners wither with a nonprofit, or from the corporate side a major plus
