Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with other departments that request developer help
• Maintain upkeep of website including fixing and thwarting malicious attacks
• Attend weekly meetings with the other program leads when requested
• Partner and work with developer and publishers  to realize a partnership
• Develop and engineer solutions for automation or streamlining of inter-department processes
• Lead a team of technical assistants that aid in furthering engineering needs
• Proactively coordinate plans to advance Games For Love's Engineering Department

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to volunteer 5-10 hrs. per week for a minimum of 12 months.
• Web administration experience
• Proficient with HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Bonus if proficient with PHP and APIs, and web frameworks such as React and Angular.
• Experience using WordPress
• Strong interpersonal skills that support activities to improve the individual, program, and organizational performance (e.g., encouragement, optimism, compassion, empathy, resilience, recognition of the value of performance improvement)
• Experience leading non-profit programs is a plus
