💼 What You’ll Do
As a Gaming Associate, you will be seated at live card game tables (e.g., Blackjack, Baccarat, UTH) acting as an active participant to help ensure games run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with dealers to verify gameplay for accuracy, fairness, and compliance
Maintain a professional and composed presence at all times
Identify and report irregularities or suspicious activity
Handle chips and assist with table operations
This is a low physical demand role that requires focus, consistency, and strong attention to detail.
✅ Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older
Authorized to work in the United States
Strong basic math skills
Reliability, punctuality and integrity
Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment
Open availability for the casino's 24/7 hours of operation - Shifts may include late-night and overnight hours
Full-time schedule (must be available to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and all holidays)
Ability to pass a lifetime background check, credit check, and drug screen for state licensure
Attire: Business professional
This role requires licensing through the California Gambling Control Commission and oversight by the California Department of Justice Bureau of Gambling Control. Thousand Palms will support and cover the cost of required licensing.
