    GENERAL FUNCTION:       

    Primary focus of this role is to build, coach, develop, lead and motivate a team that is capable of analyzing client needs and recommending financial solutions that create lasting client relationship.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Provides sales and service leadership within the branch manages/develops a team. 
    • Will be the market leader in the local community or designated business area. 
    • Accountable for driving new client acquisition and retention, growing market share and balance sheet growth, growing non-interest income, growing joint partnership revenue, and fostering client and employees satisfaction to meet or exceed branch sales and service goals. 
    • Accountable for marketing products and services to generate profitable revenue by calling on small businesses and networking in the community. 
    • Accountable for partnering with an referring business to all lines of business partners including, but not limited to, retail, investments services, mortgage, consumer and business banking, cash management, and commercial lending to meet the client needs. 
    • Responsible for the daily sound operations and profitability of the branch including effective risk management and compliance with all banks polices, procedures regulations, confidentiality requirements, audit, security and loss prevention controls. 
    • Effectively and consistently communicate to team members the goals of the bank and work diligently.
    • Utilize leadership and management sales skills to promote sales culture and accountability by setting a high standard of sales and service and effectively and consistently coaching and training individual team members. 
    • Promote the Bank and branch in the community and maintain an active visible role in appropriate organizations. Seek out opportunities to optimize the Bank’s community involvement. 
    • Responsible for the professional development needs of self and subordinates including setting performance standards, monitoring results, providing training, coaching, general feedback and complying with all personnel and management policies and procedures including scheduled reviews, disciplinary actions, hiring and terminations.
    • Maintain a well-developed working knowledge of the complete line of products and services offered. 
    • Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of the various duties assigned in the branch including working a teller drawer, opening new accounts, accepting loan applications, and the professional resolution of problems/issues. 
    • Fulfill Mortgage Loan Officer (“MLO”) responsibilities. As defined by law, a MLO takes residential mortgage loan applications and offers or negotiates terms of a residential mortgage loan for compensation or gain. MLO's are required to be registered in the federal NMLS registry.

     

    Required Skills

    • Must exhibit strong organizational skills, dependability, flexibility, and planning. 
    • Ability to perform basic math functions.
    • Proficient at intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
    • Extensive contact with the public, necessitating presenting a professional image.
    • Ability to demonstrate good communication skills in both oral and written form.
    • Ability to take initiative and utilize sound judgment in decision-making and higher-level problem solving.
    • Ability to manage and be held accountable in a sales and service results orientated environment.

    Required Experience

     

    • Minimum of 5 years current or recent related banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Associate Degree or its equivalent.
