    JOB TITLE: Certified Testing Administrator, Work-Study 

     

    DEPARTMENT: Testing Center

     

    PAY RATE: $12.85 PER HOUR 

     

    NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 4

     

    Fall and Spring Semesters

     

    JOB DESCRIPTION 

    • Daily interaction with students, staff, faculty and administrators, parents/guardians and visitors.
    • Provide accurate information regarding all placement tests and class tests, as well as Test Center policies.
    • Provide support to CCD Testing Center Staff.
    • Excellent time management.
    • Commitment to protecting the confidentiality of all information handled in the Testing Center.

     

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Responsible for CTA opening and closing duties.
    • Assist in Key Area, Runner Area, and supervising in and out of Labs A, B, and C.
    • Responsible for special projects as assigned.
    • Actively participate in all staff monthly meetings.
    • Actively participate in monthly feedback sessions with your Team Leader. Test Administration:
    • Accountable for all test certifications and testing if applicable.
    • Accurately set-up and administer computer based and paper based tests.
    • Assist with the escorting of examinees into the testing labs.
    • Monitor the activity of testers and protect the integrity of all exams by following CCD proctoring policies.
    • Conduct walk-throughs every 15 minutes; ensuring all candidates are abiding by Testing Center policies.
    • Arrange test materials for upcoming tests and procedures.
    • Lift/transport test materials. Clerical Duties
    • Calculate and post specific start and stop times of class test candidates.
    • Maintain and organize confidential class testing documents in accordion file.
    • Accountable for the cleanliness and organization of the testing labs.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

     

    Must be CCD student eligible for work-study funds. Excellent customer service and people skills. Dependability is a must. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in written form. Must have computer knowledge and experience with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere with constant interruptions. Strong attention to detail. A minimum qualification of a high-school diploma with computer literacy is a must. Demonstrated success in math and English coursework. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite – primarily Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word.

     

    TIME COMMITMENT

    Up to 20 hours a week
