Licensed Clinician - DYS / Alternative Options Program
Work with subject matter experts and other departments to identify training needs for both internal and external stakeholders.
Design competency-based learning programs for clients implementing our EHR software as well as internal training for staff.
Utilize a blended learning approach including job aids, web-based e-learning, simulations, interactive videos, webinars, leader-led materials, testing and certifications.
Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments.
Work closely with Training and other departments to assess the effectiveness of all training (webinars, elearning materials and Help Site) and identify areas that need updates or new curricula.
Maintain help content, project documentation and course folders.
Coach and guide junior instructional designers to design and develop learning tools and experiences that focus on improving on-the-job performance.
Required Skills
BA or MA in Instructional Design, with a focus on Adult Education and E-Learning preferred. Will also consider certification with 3-5 years relevant experience
Exceptional experience in working with SME’s to translate subject matter expertise into usable and high quality training modules
Minimum of 3 years experience in the design and development of web based learning as well as experience with LMS
3-5 years relevant experience in all phases of instructional design, adult learning in the workplace, development of teaching materials and designing learning activities.
Solid understanding of instructional design theories, methodologies and best practices; including interactive teaching methods
Strong proficiency with graphic design and multimedia tools such as: Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia, screen capture tools and PowerPoint
Project management skills proficiency, exceptional problem-solving and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Healthcare and EHR experience preferred
