    We are looking for a high-potential individual to embrace our work, learn the ins and outs, and quickly produce results.

    The Electrical Engineer is an entry level of position within the technical delivery structure of ESCO Electric.  This position is best described as a contributing technical resource for external customer project delivery.  Work executed will be within a multi-discipline team.  This position requires acquisition and knowledge of multiple electrical skills and technologies.

    The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

    • Perform project deliverables, including the development and execution of design deliverables from concept to completion (power infrastructure, sizing, etc.) under general supervision while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
    • Completion of project workbooks, including daily updates and design of new projects.
    • Support the onsite electrical team, providing technical knowledge for code and client standards.
    • Gather electrical distribution system information such as wire size, length, circuit breaker settings, fuse information, transformer data, etc.
    • Present finished reports.
    • Maintain professional client relationships.
    • Utilize, support, and enhance ESCO’s standards and best practices.
    • Understand and follow all safety, conduct, and policy requirements established by ESCO and clients.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or deemed necessary by management.

    Required Experience

    To be considered, candidates should have:

    • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree program in electrical engineering from an accredited college, technical school, or university; or
      • A combination of equivalent education and or experience will be considered with solid evidence of success.
    • Demonstrated to be highly proficient with computer technologies including but not limited to, Windows Operating Systems, and the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    Preferred:

    • Power emphasis as part of degree program.
    • Demonstrated understanding of electrical principles and electrical troubleshooting skills.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with the following: power distribution and design, protective relay programming, and communication networks.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with the use of AutoCAD Electrical.
