    The Commercial Door Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial doors, including but not limited to garage doors, rolling steel doors, and sliding doors. The technician will work on a variety of commercial properties, including warehouses, retail stores, and other businesses. Garage Door Doctor values the development and growth of its technicians. The company provides ongoing training and education to ensure its technicians are up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques in the industry, which allows for career advancement opportunities. Responsibilities: • The job environment is fast-paced and results-oriented • Install new commercial doors according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes • Repair and maintain existing commercial doors, including replacing broken or worn parts and adjusting door functions • Troubleshoot and diagnose door issues and provide repair recommendations • Perform routine maintenance on commercial doors, including lubrication and cleaning • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment • Keep the work area clean and organized • Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on new products and techniques • Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications: • We are looking for someone that has high energy and a great attitude. With that, we can help train you to win! • High school diploma or equivalent required • 2+ years of experience as a commercial door technician preferred • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required • Experience with various types of commercial doors, including garage doors, rolling steel doors, and sliding doors preferred • Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings • Strong customer service skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation: $38,000 - $41,000 yearly
