The Garage Door Installer Apprentice's primary task is to support the lead garage door installer in setting up and fixing residential garage doors. During this period, the apprentice will acquire knowledge on how to install and repair different kinds of garage doors, such as overhead, roll-up, and garage door operators. Responsibilities: • Assist lead installer with the installation of new residential garage doors • Assist with the repair and maintenance of existing residential garage doors • Learn how to properly measure and cut materials for installation • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment • Keep the work area clean and organized • Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on new products and techniques • Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required • Some experience in construction or related field preferred • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings • Strong customer service skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation: $35,000 - $39,000 yearly
