    We are looking for driven, career-minded individuals looking to take charge of their success. We can teach you the garage door trade, but we cannot teach you ambition and accountability. If you are tired of grinding away at some dead-end job or feel you will never achieve your goals in that 9-5 office role, we might be the right opportunity for you.

    As a garage door technician/Installer, you will travel in a company work truck to the customer’s home to diagnose their garage door issue. Build and present a quote to repair or replace the door, and either repair the door during that visit or return later and replace the door. Technicians must manage the truck, its inventory, their schedule, and client communication follow-up.

    Annual compensation potential $40-70k, with top technicians earning much more

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

    Prior Garage Door experience or comparable position is a plus

    HS or Equivalent

    COMPETENCIES AND SKILL SET:

    Charisma (have a personality!), ability to communicate clearly.

    Comfortable with face-to-face customer interaction.

    Solid listening skills (you will not disappear if you stop talking)

    Ability to troubleshoot, think independently, and have mechanical aptitude.

    Organized and methodical work ethic.

    Ability to work outside and safely use ladders and other tools

    Ability to read and understand directions and instructions.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Follow all company standard operating procedures.

    Install or repair various types of garage doors and openers and associated components.

    Assist in training new technicians or installers as needed—team player.

    Responsible for the safe driving of company vehicles and communicating service needs.

    Accountable for a safe work site and equipment or equipment maintenance needs.

    Assists in customer service issues

    Review work orders for accuracy, completeness/cleanliness before departing to the job site.

    Use company software and tablets.

    Knowledge and skills in using various hand and power tools

    Other duties as assigned.

    OTHER:

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

    Ability to work a flexible schedule, some evenings and weekends.

    Clean criminal background.
