Job Description
We are currently looking for a Sales Professional to generate new business opportunities and meet sales goals by leveraging existing relationships, prospecting, and cold calling to contractors, developers and architects. In addition, support our existing customer base and prospects. This position requires someone who is comfortable finding new business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive and manage the entire sales process -- targeting top prospects, identifying client solutions, negotiating and closing. • Act as a “solutions expert” consultant in helping our customers with their business needs and projects. • Establish a clear and effective plan for growing customer base and maintaining customer relationships. • Maintain a strong relationship with existing leads and customers through face to face meetings and professional networking. • Gain a strong understanding of our company’s products to articulate to our customers the value add of our experience and unmatched service. • Utilizing CRM to provide visibility and effectively communicate activity with accounts. • Calculating correct job costs & pricing for jobs and products • Attend training programs, trade shows, seminars and company events as needed to learn job skills.
Qualifications
• 3+ years cold calling sales experience or customer service required. • 2+ years of sales experience preferred – sales in the construction/garage door industry not required. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Comfortable presenting to customers, fellow employees and manufacturers. • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and strong organization skills. • Ability to solve problems and ensure customer satisfaction. • Openness and willingness to change with the needs of the business • Present our company and products in a professional manner at all times. • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite such as Outlook, Excel, and Word. • Current driver’s license and able to use own vehicle for travel.
