Position: Garage Install Tech Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Hands-on / Skilled Trades

Overview: Garage Kings is looking for a Garage Install Tech who is highly hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with tools. This role is ideal for someone with experience installing garage cabinets, slatwall, overhead storage, and shelving. Floor coating experience is a plus, but training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Install garage cabinets, slatwall systems, overhead storage, and shelving

Perform light carpentry, accurate measuring, and leveling

Assist with garage floor coating projects (training provided)

Load/unload materials and maintain a clean, organized job site

Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Communicate professionally with customers on-site

Ideal Candidate:

Strong hands-on skills and comfort using tools (must-have)

Experience with cabinetry, storage systems, or similar installations

Quick learner with solid problem-solving skills

Basic carpentry knowledge

Reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in quality workmanship

Not a “handyman-for-hire,” but a skilled installer looking to grow with a team

Nice to Have (Not Required):

Construction, remodeling, or garage system experience

Experience working in residential environments

Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders
