    Job Description

    Fast-paced, nationally recognized law firm of Garcia & Artigliere, specializing in Elder Abuse and Class Action Litigation seeks a sharp individual to join our team at our downtown Long Beach, CA office.

    Experience working at a law firm is a plus, however, this position does not require legal experience or background.

    Ideal candidate qualifications include:

    • Strong computer skills with experience on Windows 10, MS Office Word & Excel, ability to format macros, create and manipulate PDFs
    • Experience handling a multi-line phone system
    • Ability to be a team player and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where priorities change frequently
    • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Handling confidential information with discretion
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
    • Notary certification a plus

    Duties include, but are not limited to:

    • General administrative tasks, i.e. faxing, copying, scanning, mail distribution, organizing records/files
    • Receptionist duties
    • Drafting motions, filings, separate statements (which we will teach you)
    • Maintain office supplies
